If you fancy a break from sport on your day off then Levante Padel offers you the chance to take a guided tour to the local Roman City of Cartagena. Cartagena was once one of the most important naval ports in Spain. Today, it regularly receives visits from large cruise liners docking for the day. At just 35 minutes from Mar Menor Golf Resort, a visit to Murcia, the region´s capital, is well worth it.  Home to the magnificent 14th century cathedral of Saint Mary and surrounded by various bars and restaurants, the cathedral makes a great starting point for your visit.  This day out includes return transport, a local tour guide and the opportunity to get into the real heart of Spain.

Here you will learn all about the nuances of the Monastrell grape and it´s contribution to the history of wine making in this region.
