Alfonso “Fonsi” Sernández is a highly experienced padel coach and the General Manager and Director of Padel at Club MMGR at the Mar Menor Golf Resort in Torre-Pacheco, Murcia, Spain. With a background as a qualified lawyer and deep roots in racket sports, he transitioned from tennis to padel in 2005 and has since built a reputation as an engaging and passionate instructor. Fonsi holds certifications as an International Professional Coach and Professional Padel Director with the Registro Profesional de Padel (RPP), and is also a licensed national referee recognised by the Spanish Padel Federation, bringing both technical expertise and strategic insight to his coaching programmes.

Dani Martínez

Dani Martínez is a dedicated padel coach at Club MMGR at the Mar Menor Golf Resort in Torre-Pacheco, Murcia, Spain, where he works with players across a range of ages and abilities. He joined the coaching team to help meet growing interest in padel at the club and brings enthusiasm and a focus on skill development to his sessions. Dani has also played an important role in the success of the Club MMGR junior academy; under his guidance, several young players have achieved notable results in regional competitions, showcasing his ability to nurture developing talent on the court. Callum Hughes

Callum Hughes is a padel coach associated with Club MMGR at the Mar Menor Golf Resort in Torre-Pacheco, Murcia, where he leads beginner and development clinics as part of the club’s coaching programme. He’s certified as a padel coach and works with players of varying skill levels, helping newcomers learn fundamentals of technique and rally play in a friendly and supportive setting.

In addition to his coaching duties, Callum has competed through the Club MMGR Academy in international events, notably finishing first in the Men’s Intermediate category at the Irish National Championships with partner Josué Govea Moya—an achievement that reflects both his playing ability and the quality of training at the club.
